New Art Players organised the Bhupen Hazarika Quiz Competition in 2012, continuing its tradition of quizzing events that draw enthusiastic participation from a cross-section of society.

Quizzing has been part of NAP’s calendar since the institution of the Mriganka Barkakoti Memorial Inter-School Sports Quiz in 2002, which has given young quizzers of the region a platform alongside the club’s memorial competitions in children’s drama, chorus, Borgeet and elocution.
